Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and paving operations
- Operate light equipment (compactors, rollers, hand tools)
- Install and maintain storm drainage systems and signage
- Assist in road repairs, sidewalk maintenance, and vegetation control
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean record
- 1+ years construction/public works experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment knowledge
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
