Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery including mowers, trimmers, and hand tools
- Assist in park maintenance including landscaping and facility upkeep
- Respond to public service requests and emergency repairs
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Complete daily work logs and reporting documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 1 year of landscaping/construction experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge of hand/power tools
- Strong commitment to public service and community values
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
