Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, trucks) safely and efficiently
- Assist in construction projects including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain clean work zones
- Respond to weather emergencies (snow/ice removal, storm cleanup)
- Complete accurate daily work logs and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license with clean record
- 1+ years of construction/maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic equipment operation skills (mowers, hand tools)
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background check
