Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and landscape maintenance
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, dump trucks) with proper safety protocols
- Assist in repairing sidewalks, drainage systems, and public infrastructure
- Maintain parks, trails, and recreational facilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on stormwater management projects
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
- Adhere to OSHA and city safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years construction/maintenance experience
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks in varied weather
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Texas resident required
