Responsibilities
- Perform routine street maintenance including pothole repairs, curb painting, and sidewalk inspections
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, mowers) and hand tools for park upkeep
- Assist with seasonal snow removal and stormwater management operations
- Conduct infrastructure assessments and document maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on public improvement projects
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of construction/maintenance experience
- Valid Washington State Driver's License with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
