Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (street sweepers, dump trucks, graders) for infrastructure maintenance
- Perform manual labor including landscaping, snow removal, and debris cleanup
- Conduct safety inspections of public spaces and report hazards
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on city improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Missouri Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Basic knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems
