Responsibilities
- Perform heavy physical labor including excavation, paving, and concrete work
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) and hand tools safely
- Maintain public spaces including parks, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Assist in emergency storm response and snow removal operations
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota Driver's License (Class B preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous outdoor work
- Experience with construction tools or public works preferred
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Ability to work variable shifts including nights/weekends
