Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including road repairs, drainage maintenance, and park upkeep
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, graders, dump trucks) with proper certification
- Assist in emergency response during weather events and public safety incidents
- Maintain accurate work logs and safety documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Participate in regular equipment maintenance and calibration
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class B CDL license preferred
- Minimum 1 year construction/public works experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean background check and drug-free workplace compliance
- Basic math skills for material calculations
