Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy construction equipment, including dump trucks, skid steers, and rollers.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, grading, and trenching for utility lines.
- Assist in the installation and repair of public infrastructure, including sidewalks and curbs.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site in compliance with safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with crew leads and supervisors to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid New Mexico Class C Driverβs License required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA) is preferred.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including heat and cold.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team structure.
