Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, paving, and loading/unloading materials.
- Operate heavy and light machinery such as jackhammers, rollers, and dump trucks.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks, and public infrastructure.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Clear debris and snow from public roads and walkways during adverse weather conditions.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow crew members.
- Transport tools and equipment to and from job sites as directed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and perform strenuous labor for extended periods.
- Valid New Mexico Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of construction or public works equipment is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
