Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, and dump trucks for infrastructure projects
- Perform manual labor for road maintenance, drainage systems, and park facility upkeep
- Assist in debris removal, landscaping, and public area beautification initiatives
- Adhere to strict safety protocols while working in dynamic field environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on emergency response and storm recovery efforts
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for project compliance
- Participate in equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, landscaping, or public works
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental stewardship
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic proficiency with hand/power tools and construction equipment
