Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy construction materials.
- Maintain and repair streets, sidewalks, and public right-of-ways.
- Operate light to heavy equipment such as dump trucks, jackhammers, and street sweepers.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during inclement weather.
- Inspect and clear drainage ditches and catch basins to prevent flooding.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure project completion.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Georgia Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform strenuous labor in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
