Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and debris removal
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, loaders) and hand tools safely
- Install and maintain traffic control signs and barriers
- Assist in emergency storm response and cleanup operations
- Inspect and repair sidewalks, curbs, and public walkways
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with crew members to complete daily project goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 1 year construction or maintenance experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous physical labor
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
