Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various public works equipment, including dump trucks, loaders, and street sweepers.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, grading, and loading/unloading materials.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during inclement weather to ensure public safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of streets, alleys, and public right-of-way areas.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Class C Maryland Driver’s License required.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with power tools.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required.
