Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, paving, concrete work, and landscaping maintenance.
- Operate light to medium construction equipment such as dump trucks, rollers, and loaders.
- Maintain and clean public streets, parks, rights-of-way, and drainage systems.
- Assist in traffic control operations, including flagging and setting up signage.
- Remove snow and ice from sidewalks and roads during winter months as required.
- Unload materials and supplies from delivery trucks at job sites.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
