Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, dump trucks) for infrastructure maintenance
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and utility installation
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain equipment in optimal condition
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project efficiency
- Document daily progress and material usage via digital reporting tools
- Respond to emergency public works situations with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- Minimum 2 years construction/public works experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Proficient with digital reporting tools (mobile apps, tablets)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
