Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including digging, lifting, and operating construction equipment
- Assist with street maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and storm drain cleaning
- Support park maintenance and green space development projects
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Operate machinery like backhoes, dump trucks, and hand tools
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of construction or maintenance experience
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool operation skills
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental stewardship
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
