Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, dump trucks) for infrastructure projects
- Perform road maintenance, pothole repairs, and snow removal operations
- Install and maintain public utilities (water lines, storm drains)
- Conduct safety inspections and adhere to OSHA protocols
- Collaborate with engineering teams on municipal improvement projects
- Document daily operations and submit progress reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years construction/maintenance experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Clean background check and pre-employment drug screening required
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
