Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy construction equipment such as pavers, rollers, and loaders.
- Perform manual labor including digging, hauling, and loading materials.
- Install, repair, and maintain streets, sidewalks, curbs, and gutters.
- Assist with traffic control and flagging duties to ensure worker and public safety.
- Perform general cleanup and maintenance of job sites.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and departmental policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid California Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform heavy labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs).
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or public works is a plus but not required.
- Must pass a post-offer physical examination and drug screen.
