Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of city streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery including jackhammers, saws, and compactors
- Assist in traffic control and road marking operations during construction
- Conduct litter removal, landscaping, and park maintenance duties
- Support emergency response teams during weather-related incidents
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Complete daily equipment inspection and basic maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean record
- Minimum 1 year construction or maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction methods
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with minimal supervision
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and emergencies
