Responsibilities
- Perform general construction and maintenance tasks on streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
- Operate and maintain light to medium construction equipment and hand tools.
- Assist in snow and ice removal during winter months to ensure public safety.
- Lay, repair, and maintain asphalt, concrete, and related street surfaces.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and machinery.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
