Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including grading, paving, snow removal, and cleaning streets and alleys.
- Maintain and clean public parks, sidewalks, right-of-ways, and drainage systems.
- Operate and maintain a variety of light to heavy construction equipment and hand tools.
- Assist with traffic control operations, flagging, and work zone safety.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and debris safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work sites adhere to strict OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to execute maintenance projects effectively.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination and drug screen.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain.
- Basic knowledge of construction practices and equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina, ability to lift heavy objects, and work on feet for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
