Responsibilities
- Perform general construction and maintenance tasks, including loading and unloading materials.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as dump trucks, rollers, and backhoes safely.
- Assist in road repair, pothole filling, and asphalt paving projects.
- Clear snow, ice, and debris from streets, sidewalks, and public areas during winter months.
- Follow all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress.
- Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment as directed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is highly preferred.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or maps.
- Previous experience in public works, construction, or landscaping is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States.
