Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, grading, and paving operations.
- Operate and maintain heavy construction equipment and hand tools safely.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during inclement weather.
- Repair and maintain roads, sidewalks, and drainage structures.
- Load and unload construction materials using trucks and forklifts.
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines at all times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow crew members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Previous experience in public works, construction, or landscaping is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.
