Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling for municipal projects
- Operate hand/power tools (training provided) for infrastructure maintenance and repairs
- Assist in traffic control setup and site safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Participate in storm drain cleaning, street sweeping, and park maintenance
- Support emergency response efforts during weather events
- Maintain clean and organized work sites
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – open to all motivated candidates
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid California Driver's License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
