Responsibilities
- Operate city-provided heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, graders)
- Perform road maintenance and repair tasks
- Assist in park and public space beautification projects
- Conduct basic equipment inspections and reporting
- Follow strict safety protocols on all job sites
- Collaborate with crew members on daily assignments
- Participate in emergency storm response operations
Qualifications
- Valid New Jersey driver's license required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
- Pass pre-employment physical examination

- Ability to work rotating shift schedules
