Responsibilities
- Operate city-provided heavy machinery (excavators, graders, loaders) for infrastructure projects
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and utility maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections and repairs of public works facilities
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols while working in dynamic environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal improvement projects
- Maintain accurate project documentation and equipment logs
Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic mechanical aptitude with heavy equipment operation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
