Responsibilities
- Operate city-provided heavy equipment (excavators, bulldozers, etc.)
- Perform road maintenance and construction projects
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Follow OSHA safety protocols strictly
- Assist in emergency response operations
- Maintain clean and organized work sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification
- Minimum 1 year heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
