Responsibilities
- Operate city-provided heavy equipment (excavators, graders, etc.) for infrastructure projects
- Perform road maintenance, landscaping, and public facility repairs
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system upkeep
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Follow strict OSHA safety protocols on all job sites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Class C Nevada driver's license
- Ability to operate heavy machinery with certification training provided
- Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks in varying weather
- Basic knowledge of construction/maintenance practices
- Strong commitment to workplace safety standards
