Responsibilities
- Operate city-provided machinery (excavators, loaders, dump trucks)
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure maintenance and repairs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols with supplied PPE and equipment
- Assist in road construction, drainage systems, and park maintenance
- Conduct site inspections and report equipment/service needs
- Collaborate with crews on public works projects citywide
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license (Class B preferred)
- Ability to operate heavy machinery (training provided)
- Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in all weather
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in construction or public works preferred
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
