Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and landscaping for city infrastructure projects
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, dump trucks) with proper safety protocols
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections and reporting of public works assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on community beautification initiatives
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation experience preferred
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental stewardship
- Flexible availability including weekends and emergency call-outs
