Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for street maintenance, park upkeep, and facility repairs
- Operate light machinery including sweepers, jackhammers, and snow removal equipment
- Assist with traffic control during construction projects and emergency response
- Complete daily equipment checks and safety inspections
- Support waste management and recycling initiatives citywide
- Document work progress and maintain accurate activity logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Experience with hand tools and power equipment
- Flexible availability including weekends and evenings
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Basic knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems
