Responsibilities
- Maintain city streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, forklifts) with proper training
- Perform landscaping and vegetation control in public spaces
- Assist in emergency response during weather events
- Conduct routine inspections of infrastructure assets
- Support recycling and waste management initiatives
- Adhere to strict safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Availability for flexible shifts (including weekends)
- Basic math skills for inventory and measurements
- Commitment to public service excellence
- Pass pre-employment physical exam
- No criminal record (background check required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
