Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for construction, maintenance, and repair of public infrastructure
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Assist in stormwater management, snow removal, and vegetation control
- Inspect work sites and report hazards or maintenance needs
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License (Class B preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction methods
- Strong work ethic and reliability with flexible availability
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Previous public works or construction experience preferred
