Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and street maintenance
- Operate light machinery (saws, drills, compactors) with proper safety protocols
- Assist in storm drain cleaning and sewer system maintenance
- Support park beautification projects and green space management
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
- Adhere to OSHA and city safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation experience
- Flexible availability including weekends and emergency response
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Philadelphia residency preferred (per city ordinance)
