Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor in road maintenance, park upkeep, and facility repairs
- Operate light machinery (mowers, sweepers, hand tools) safely
- Assist in stormwater management and erosion control projects
- Maintain public spaces including sidewalks, greenways, and recreation areas
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Complete daily inspection reports and maintenance logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Experience with basic hand/power tools preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Must pass background check and physical assessment
