Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on city streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery and equipment including sweepers, mowers, and hand tools
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system upkeep
- Contribute to park maintenance, landscaping, and beautification projects
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Participate in emergency response duties during inclement weather
- Document work activities and maintain accurate equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Willingness to obtain required certifications within 90 days
