Responsibilities
- Maintain public facilities including parks, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, mowers, dump trucks) with proper certifications
- Perform groundskeeping and landscaping duties across city properties
- Assist in emergency response and stormwater management operations
- Follow strict safety protocols for construction site environments
- Complete routine inspections and submit detailed maintenance reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Experience with hand/power tools and basic equipment operation
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Flexible availability during weekday daytime hours
