Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy construction equipment such as graders, rollers, and pavers.
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, trenching, and compaction.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and supplies efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Assist with snow removal and ice control operations during winter months.
- Inspect work areas to identify potential safety hazards and report issues immediately.
- Follow detailed blueprints and instructions from supervisors to ensure project accuracy.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform strenuous labor, including lifting 50+ lbs and standing for long periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is highly preferred.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights (if applicable).
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
