Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and snow removal.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery and hand tools such as jackhammers, rollers, and dump trucks.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks, curbs, and public grounds.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and traffic control procedures.
- Respond to emergency service calls and maintain readiness during severe weather events.
- Clean and prepare job sites to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction equipment is preferred.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
