Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor in street maintenance, park upkeep, and facility repairs
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, mowers, hand tools) safely and efficiently
- Assist in emergency response during weather-related events
- Maintain clean and organized work sites following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public improvement projects
- Document daily activities and submit progress reports
- Support community events and public safety initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Class C Driver's License (must provide at hire)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment operation
- Ability to work in variable weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and municipal standards
- Previous labor or construction experience preferred
