Responsibilities
- Perform grounds maintenance, landscaping, and park facility upkeep
- Operate light machinery (mowers, trimmers, snow removal equipment)
- Assist in road repair, drainage system maintenance, and stormwater management
- Conduct routine inspections and report infrastructure concerns
- Support emergency response efforts during weather events
- Maintain accurate equipment logs and safety documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on city-wide initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Experience operating hand/power tools and light equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in varying weather
- Basic knowledge of landscaping, irrigation, or construction practices
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
