Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, forklifts) under supervision
- Perform road maintenance, paving, and sidewalk repairs
- Assist in storm drain cleaning and flood control systems
- Support park landscaping and facility maintenance
- Conduct site preparation and material handling for construction projects
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Complete daily equipment inspection and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C minimum)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool operation skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Clean driving record (no major violations within 3 years)
