Responsibilities
- Perform street maintenance including pothole repairs, sidewalk installations, and striping operations
- Operate heavy machinery including backhoes, graders, and dump trucks under supervision
- Assist in snow removal and emergency weather response operations
- Conduct park maintenance including landscaping, irrigation systems, and facility upkeep
- Support waste management operations and recycling initiatives citywide
- Participate in infrastructure inspection and reporting protocols
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Colorado Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to operate equipment
- Strong commitment to public service and community values
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends for emergencies
