Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and asphalt patching.
- Operate heavy machinery such as backhoes, rollers, and dump trucks (training provided).
- Assist with traffic control, flagging, and the installation of safety signage.
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites and properly store tools and equipment.
- Inspect infrastructure for hazards and report maintenance needs to supervisors.
- Work effectively as part of a crew while adhering to all project timelines.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs frequently and stand for extended periods outdoors.
- Valid California Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and rain.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
- Basic knowledge of construction or landscaping is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
