Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and carrying materials up to 50 lbs
- Operate light machinery (saws, drills, compactors) under supervision
- Assist in road repairs, sidewalk maintenance, and park infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
- Maintain clean work zones and proper equipment storage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on daily project tasks
- Document work progress and report maintenance issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Minnesota driver's license
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Previous construction or labor experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power equipment
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
