Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including street cleaning, park maintenance, and facility upkeep
- Operate light equipment such as mowers, sweepers, and hand tools safely
- Assist in stormwater drainage system maintenance and debris removal
- Support public event setup/breakdown and construction site preparation
- Enforce safety protocols and report hazards to supervisors
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation experience
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends as needed
