Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including paving, patching, and surface preparation.
- Operate and maintain light to heavy construction equipment and tools.
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of streets, alleys, and sidewalks.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and OSHA standards on job sites.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Clean work areas and remove debris to maintain a safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members.
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work overtime and varying shifts if required.
