Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, and dump trucks for infrastructure projects
- Perform manual labor tasks such as excavation, grading, and material handling
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of public facilities and roadways
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and municipal regulations
- Assist in stormwater management and environmental preservation initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project coordination and efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid New Jersey Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years of construction/public works experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and procedural compliance
- High school diploma or equivalent required
