Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including grading, paving, patching, and cleaning drainage ditches.
- Operate light to medium heavy equipment, including dump trucks, rollers, and loaders, under supervision.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during winter months to ensure public safety.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA and safety regulations.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks.
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Class "C" Louisiana Driver’s License required.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to undergo a drug screen and background check.
- Basic knowledge of construction or road maintenance is a plus but not required.
